No one has quite captured the sometimes apparent absurdity of life and even the determination of hope quite like he did. To learn more about Beckett see below. A spoof about Microsoft leaving its Office Live Beta Users in limbo while they moved on to a new version for those who signed up after the Beta. The spoof was created to address this issue. The Beta users are still waitng. To date it has not been remedied and is an absurd example of poor business practices. Godot has never arrived. UPDATE - 02/02/07 The OL Team has begun to transition beta users to the new version. While there are a few problems for the most part it seems to be going OK. | Creator of Masterpieces 
Samuel Barclay Beckett (13 April 1906 – 22 December 1989) was an Irish dramatist, novelist and poet. Waiting for Godot (French: En attendant Godot), subtitled A Tragicomedy in Two Acts, is an absurdist play by Samuel Beckett, written in the late 1940s and first published in 1952. Beckett originally wrote the play in French, his second language, and translated it into English in 1954.
