Flickr and Office Live - Nice Partners
Flickr is a wonderful community dedicated to sharing photos and communicating with others. Both amateurs and professionals use it. The advantages are many to using Flickr including getting visibility for your creative efforts as well as your products and services. Tagging your photos with appropriate names and adding your site url can be good for search visibility as well. It's free but also has the a Professional Account status for a small amount which allows for larger uploads and the ability to add more Photo Sets. The example below is a set I started recently to display some Winter photos I am taking. In your case it could be a series of photos of your products or your web site. Thinking out of the box is always appreciated on Flickr. Get busy and take some photos or screenshots and let's see what you can show us! |

Now that you have the code you are ready to create the slideshow on your Office Live site. Go to the page you wish to embed the slideshow on in the Page Editor. 5. Place your cursor where you want it and click "Module" and then "HTML" in the toolbar. 6. Paste the Flickr code into the text area and click "OK". 7. Adjust the boundary box handles of the HTML module to show the slideshow correctly. 8. Wowzaaa! You have a Flickr slideshow on your page. 9. Enjoy! Changing the Slideshow Size | To change the size of your slideshow alter the width and height in the code. It appears in two places so change it in both. width="400" height="300"
